The Hotel Miranda was originally built in 1810 as a wealthy sea captain's mansion .
It has been declared a building of National Heritage by the Ministry of Culture, as it is considered an especially fine example of characteristic Hydriot architecture. The hotel is located in a beatiful and quite location, only 3 minutes from the harbour and the cosmopolitan life of Hydra.
Breakfast is served in the hotel's beatiful garden, full of flowers and lemon trees.
The Hotel Miranda has 14 rooms, each one different, some of them with old hand-painted ceilings made by Venetian artists.
