Begin your Mykonos sailing experience with the comfort of free hotel pick-up and drop-off. Upon arrival at Platis Gialos port, step aboard one of our premium catamarans, like the two-level AVRA or our Marina. From the moment you are welcomed with a chilled glass of Prosecco, the tone is set for a day of luxury and discovery.
Relax on wide sun decks, cool off in shaded lounges, or enjoy the panoramic views from the upper level as the crew gives a short safety briefing. During the journey, guests are invited to an interactive sailing demonstration, where the crew shows how to open or retract the main sail depending on the conditions. For those who wish, there’s even the chance to take the helm alongside the captain, a rare experience that makes this cruise stand out.
Our first destination is the sacred island of Delos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the legendary birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. Unlike many cruises that only sail past, Avra anchors so that guests can disembark and enjoy the island at their leisure. You may choose to explore ashore, wander the coastline, or simply remain on board and head to a nearby bay for swimming and relaxation. Guests staying onboard can enjoy their first swim of the day, while those going ashore will discover the unique atmosphere of this mythical island. Our crew is always happy to share local legends and stories that bring Delos to life.
We then continue to Rhenia Island, a hidden paradise with turquoise waters and golden sands. Drop anchor in a quiet bay and enjoy time for swimming, snorkeling, or sunbathing on deck. Snorkeling equipment, towels, sunscreen, Wi-Fi, and music are all included for your comfort.
While you enjoy the sea, the crew prepares an authentic Greek BBQ featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients from Mykonos and nearby islands. The menu includes marinated chicken souvlaki, delicious meatballs, Greek salad with basil pesto, handmade tzatziki, grilled vegetables, aromatic rice, fresh bread, feta cheese, and seasonal fruits. Unlimited wine, beer, soft drinks, and water are served throughout the meal, with vegetarian, vegan and special dietary options available on request.
After a day of history, relaxation, and fun, we sail back towards Platis Gialos. Avra uses energy-efficient navigation methods to minimize environmental impact, making your experience not only luxurious but also eco-conscious.
