Description
Kefalonia is not merely an island, it is a living cellar. Its mountains conceal limestone
deep within, its valleys breathe sea air, and its vines have reached toward the Ionian sun
since antiquity. At ΜΑΝΑ, every glass poured carries the soul of this island — its stone,
its sun, its salt.
Positioned directly on the route between Assos and Fiskardo, ΜΑΝΑ sits at the most
central point of Kefalonia, overlooking Myrtos Beach, making it an effortless addition to
any day of island touring. Guests are guided through a tasting of the island’s PDO wines
— Robola, Mavrodafni, and Vostilidi — sourced from three of Kefalonia’s leading
winemakers: the Robola Cooperative of Omala, natural winemaker Panos Sarris of
Svoronata, and the century-old organic Charitatos Estate of Lixouri.
Every tasting is hosted by a live, in-person guide who shares the stories behind each
bottle — from the growers and winemaking families to the traditions shaping every
glass. Wines are paired with local Kefalonian cheeses, honey, olives, and charcuterie.
Once the tasting is complete, guests are welcomed into a comfortable, relaxed space to
sit back and fully enjoy their wine tasting experience.
All tasted wines, along with a curated selection of Kefalonian specialties, are available to
purchase directly from the ΜΑΝΑ grocery on-site.
