Description
Set sail on a small-group sailing adventure from Heraklion to the unspoiled island of Dia. With no more than 10 guests on board, this trip offers a relaxed, semi-private experience full of sun, sea, and Cretan hospitality.
Whether you meet our team directly at Heraklion Port or choose the transfer option from nearby areas like Malia, Hersonissos, Analipsi, Gouves, Kokkini Hani, Ammoudara, or Agia Pelagia, your adventure begins the moment you step aboard.
Be welcomed by your friendly local crew, who will make you feel right at home the moment you step aboard. Set sail for Dia Island, just 6 nautical miles north of Heraklion. Enjoy breathtaking views of Crete’s coastline and keep an eye out for dolphins that often play in our wake — especially if Captain George the Fisherman starts singing to them!
Once we reach Saint George Bay, a peaceful bay on Dia Island, you’ll have plenty of time to:
- Swim in crystal-clear waters
- Try snorkeling to discover underwater life
- Grab the paddleboard for a little exploration, or simply
- Sunbathe on deck while enjoying the serenity of the island
While you unwind, your crew will prepare a delicious Mediterranean meal using fresh, local ingredients. The meal includes:
- Pasta with shrimp or a vegetarian pasta with pesto
- Traditional Greek salad
- Fresh fruit salad for dessert

Unlimited drinks are available on board, including white wine, soft drinks, beer, and water. Gluten-free and vegan options are also available.

Captain George #1 – A seasoned sailor with years of experience, George is calm, funny, and incredibly attentive. He’ll treat you like part of the crew the moment you step on board — whether you want to help with the sails or just sit back and enjoy the ride.
Captain George #2 – The Fisherman – He knows every corner of Dia’s waters and every creature in it. A natural storyteller, he brings the island’s history and sea life to life — and if we spot dolphins, you’ll probably hear him speak or even sing to them!
Captain Panos – Always dancing or singing, Panos is a joyful soul who brings warmth and positive energy to every trip. You’ll often catch him tidying the shores of Dia because he’s deeply passionate about protecting the island’s natural beauty.
Captain Vaso – Young, bold, and a national sailing champion, Vaso has incredible talent on the sea and a warm, welcoming presence. Sailing with her is inspiring, and she’s always happy to teach you a few tricks or just chat about island life.
After the meal, enjoy a final swim or relax as we sail back to Heraklion. Whether you're a solo traveler, couple, or group, it’s a personal, unforgettable taste of Crete — calm, sunny, and full of heart!

- The activity provider is dedicated to ensuring every individual can join their sailing trips. Please, inform them of any impairments, and they'll do their utmost to accommodate your needs

- Please be aware that departure times may change due to force majeure situations, such as directives from the Port Authority. Trust your captain and crew — they are always here to guide you and ensure your experience remains safe and enjoyable
