This full-day adventure invites you to descend ancient pathways that wind through towering cliffs, dense plane tree forests and shimmering rock pools, before opening out to the deep blue of the Aegean Sea. What You’ll Encounter Begin your descent near the summit of Ochi Mountain, stepping onto the original mountain trail—believed to be over 2,000 years old. a verdant gorge thick with wild olive trees, pear trees, oak and stately plane (Platanus) trees, all forming a natural cathedral of greenery. At every turn, catch glimpses of carved stone stairways and ancient markers reminding you of the long human passage through this wild terrain. Reach the gorge’s dramatic finale: where the trail meets the coastline and the sea awaits. Take a refreshing dip or simply savour the view. After the hike, enjoy a local-style meal at a nearby tavern to complete the experience.
