Description
Start with a guided walk through the vineyards, where you’ll discover local grape varieties and learn about sustainable viticulture and traditional vinification methods. Your host will explain each stage of the production process, from grape cultivation to fermentation and aging.
After the vineyard visit, relax at the outdoor wine bar for a guided tasting session. Sample a selection of the winery’s wines while learning about the oenological techniques behind each label.
Next, join a fun and interactive Greek cooking experience. Participation is optional, but highly encouraged! Together, you’ll prepare traditional dishes inspired by local recipes and seasonal ingredients.
The experience continues with a generous tapas-style meal, known in Greece as “mezedes,” served in a restaurant area overlooking the vineyards. The mostly vegetarian menu includes local bread, Greek salad, tzatziki, tirokafteri, eggplant salad, and other traditional specialties — perfectly designed for pairing with the wines you’ve tasted.
To conclude, step inside the distillery area to learn about the distillation process and enjoy a tasting of local grape distillate, tsipouro, traditionally served as a digestive.
