25 years have passed already, since the beginning of its operation for the art institution of 'PLOES' at the P. & M. Kydonieos Foundation in Andros.
Also, in 2019 is the 30 years since our leading Yannis Tsarouchis left our futile world for the neighborhoods of the angels.
This is a dual anniversary, which gives multiple reasons for bringing this greatest artist to the forefront, in the most proverbial and representative way, through its unsurpassed and inexhaustible painting. And the reason is not formal but essential, both in a spiritual and aesthetic sense.
Yannis Tsarouchis may be a distinguished visual artist of the 1930s, but he is the leader who paved the way for a different approach to painting through groundbreaking solutions and modern perceptions that bridged the oriental worldview with the West.
