Held annually since 1967, Andros Race is one of the most important offshore races in Greece and unfailingly hosted in recent years on Andros, an island with a long maritime heritage. The 49th Andros Race is scheduled a week after “Posidonia”, the world’s largest exhibition for the global shipping industry held in Athens. One of the closest islands to Athens, the Andros Race transforms the beautiful island into a major attraction. Visitors flock to Andros, to combine a weekend of relaxation with the thrilling sight of yacht racing in the stadium style race track of the panoramic bay.
